Robin Aurora is
an energetic,
dynamic Indian yogi,
with an inspirational and
infectious passion for
Ashtanga yoga.



Robin’s dedication to Ashtanga yoga is reflected in his annual
pilgrimage to Mysore, India to study at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute with Sharath Rangaswamy, the highest practising Ashtanga yogi in the world and Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (Guruji - the father of Ashtanga yoga). Robin has worked with many other internationally recognised teachers, namely, Danny Paradise, Shiva Rea, John Scott, Manju Jois, David Williams, Kristina Ireland, Liz Lark, Mike Nevitt, David Keil, and Anthony Zenchenko amongst others.



Robin has been practising yoga since 1996 and teaching since September 1999. In October 2003 he qualified as a certified British Wheel of Yoga teacher.

Ashtanga Yoga teacher-training certification was granted to Robin by Brian Cooper in October 2003 after having attended his one year course.



Further, Robin completed an intensive Ashtanga teacher training course in December 2003 with the world-renowned Ashtanga yogi, David Swenson. In October 2004, Robin attended Nancy Gilgoff’s adjustment clinic and in January 2005 he completed Phillip Xerri’s Pranayama teacher training course.


Robin’s motivation and exceptional drive, interlaced with a keen sense of humour, have gained him respect as a young competent yogi. His unique teaching style integrates energetic enthusiasm with a solid, conscientious and focused approach.
